Road to Royal Rumble: Ultimate guide to the European tour

Calling all WWE fans across Europe! You now have the chance to watch your favourite faces show you what they’re made of. The Road to Royal Rumble European Tour is WWE’s newly announced string of shows across Europe in early January 2026. This is a build-up to the Royal Rumble itself.

Rather than staying stateside, WWE is spotlighting fans across the UK, Germany, Denmark and Poland, letting its Superstars hit the road for live events.

Before the European tour and brand-new TV show, WWE’s Greatest Moments, Blaze is smacking down all the tour's key dates, venues and who you can expect to see. Call it a one-stop shop for one of wrestling’s main events.

Which Superstars are coming?

Wondering what top Superstars you can watch on the tour? From ‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes to WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill, you’ll also see World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, Bron Breakker, Stephanie Vaquer, LA Knight, Bronson Reed and more, hit the road.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the wrestlers you’ll be able to see:

‘The American Nightmare’ Cody Rhodes

Wrestling isn’t just in Cody Rhodes’ bones (and muscles), it’s in his blood. The son of beloved WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, Cody has not only carved out his own legacy in the ring but also beyond. Signature moves like the ‘Cross Rhodes’, ‘Cody Cutter’ and ‘Beautiful Disaster’ have earned him the nickname: ‘The American Nightmare’.

As for the Royal Rumble? Rhodes made history by winning the Rumble in both 2023 and 2024. He has cemented himself as a top-tier headliner, and fans can expect him to make history again at the 2026 Royal Rumble. But before that, Cody aficionados can see the champ live and on the road.

Jade Cargill

Believe the buzz. Jade Cargill hasn’t just arrived in WWE; she has marched in like a Superstar who already knows her spot at the top is waiting. She is a must-see wrestler with the kind of presence that turns heads the moment she steps into the ring.

Cargill made her Royal Rumble debut in 2024, where she defeated not one but three Superstars, including Becky Lynch. Her crowd-pleasing performance will see the champion take centre stage once again in the 2026 event and showcase her style on tour.

CM Punk

CM Punk is the definition of anti-establishment. A straight-edge rebel with a sharp tongue and a talent for dropping pipe bombs that send shockwaves through WWE. He is the loudest voice in the room and the one Superstar who never cared whose feathers he ruffled along the way.

Inspired by the legendary Rowdy Roddy Piper, Punk built his reputation on attitude, honesty and a take-no-prisoners style that instantly connected with the WWE Universe. His mix of martial arts strikes, submissions and pure grit made him stand out from everyone around him. Championships followed.

When it comes to the Royal Rumble, there’s one thing we know about CM Punk: expect the unexpected. And that might be Punk’s greatest signature of all.

Stephanie Vaquer

Stephanie Vaquer is making history. It’s a fact, not only is she the Women’s World Champion, but her NXT Women’s North American Championship at Vengeance Day 2024 earned her the title of: First-ever female South American champion. Then she did it again. At Roadblock 2025, Vaquer stunned Giulia and secured her second title, becoming the first woman in WWE history to hold two NXT championships at the same time.

It's time for fans around Europe to watch ‘The Dark Angel’ bring her A-game yet again to The Road to the Royal Rumble. Who’s ready?

How does the Road to Royal Rumble Tour fit into the WWE calendar?

Are you wondering how the European tour fits into WWE’s broader calendar? Here’s some helpful information to ensure you get your wrestling fix if you can’t make the dates listed above.

The Royal Rumble, held at the end of January, is one of WWE’s ‘Big Four’ pay-per-view events and a key driver of storylines for WrestleMania season. The European tour at the beginning of the month acts as a taster for the main event. It is designed to give Superstars the chance to fine-tune their in-ring chemistry with their rivals and create buzz ahead of the big day.

As for WrestleMania, the Royal Rumble winner traditionally earns a title shot at WrestleMania, WWE’s biggest annual event. The Road to the Royal Rumble tour builds excitement and momentum for this journey. It sets the tone for the season, reminding fans which Superstars are positioned as top contenders, and creates hype around the matches that will have ripple effects through WrestleMania storylines.

International buzz

While WWE produces popular weekly shows like Raw and SmackDown, Europe hasn’t always had consistent live-event exposure. The tour brings WWE Superstars directly to fans across the UK, Germany, Denmark and Poland, giving international audiences a front-row experience of major storylines and character moments. It keeps the global fanbase engaged ahead of WWE’s biggest event of the month.

In a nutshell, the Road to the Royal Rumble tour is a strategic warm-up for WWE’s biggest January event. It engages international fans, hypes storylines, and tests characters. It ensures that when the Royal Rumble bell rings, the WWE Universe is fully invested in the drama, rivalries, and surprises about to unfold.

Memorable moments

European WWE tours have a long history of giving fans unforgettable nights, and the Road to the Royal Rumble tour promises to continue that tradition. Over the years, these tours have produced iconic matches, surprise appearances and jaw-dropping moments that European fans still talk about today. Here are a few we have hand-picked to get you excited:

Seth Rollins' injury in Ireland 2015

WWE Champion Seth Rollins suffered a significant injury in Ireland 2015 when he was doing a sunset flip powerbomb and wrecked his knee. This injury forced him to lose the title to his opponent, Kane, and put him out of action for at least seven months. It was a moment nobody will forget in a hurry.
